As contracted providers, we value your input and would like to have your feedback on the following clinical practice guidelines before they are officially adopted by the health plan. Please review the guidelines below and provide feedback to your provider advocate by March 12, 2026. If we have no response by the deadline, we’ll assume review/approval/no changes.
UnitedHealthcare and local network practitioners review evidence-based clinical guidelines at least annually. Subsequently, the following guidelines were recently adopted by the health plan on December 5, 2025. Please review them carefully to determine if and how they affect your daily practices.
SHO plan updates
Effective January 1, 2026, the Venetian Las Vegas Gaming benefit plan will include a $250
calendar-year deductible applicable to services subject to coinsurance, including emergency room physician services, inpatient physician services, surgical procedures, and other major services. Learn more.
HPN Medicaid plan updates
Effective January 1, 2026, biosimilar complement inhibitor products will be preferred over Soliris (eculizumab) and Ultomiris (ravulizumab). Learn more.
Project ECHO Project ECHO Nevada invites you to the upcoming five-part free series entitled Developmental Pediatrics ECHO. This module-based ECHO program will aim to empower pediatric healthcare providers through clinical tools and knowledge to evaluate and care for pediatric patients with additional developmental needs.
