2026 ACA updates: what you need to know

Recent government regulations may impact how millions of Americans receive health care coverage in 2026.

Government help, called a subsidy, can lower the cost of your ACA health plan based on your income. Please note that changes to subsidies may impact premiums for all ACA Marketplace members starting January 1, 2026 – even if policyholders keep the same plan. These savings are still available for 2025, but some may go away in 2026 depending on future legislation.

You deserve comprehensive and affordable coverage. To get the lowest-cost plan available, please verify your income and household information by December 15.

Changes to open enrollment: What that means for you

We want to make sure you’re covered for 2026. Please choose a plan that best works for you between now and January 15; otherwise, you must experience a qualifying life event – like getting married – in order to change your 2026 ACA Marketplace plan.
